Yesterday, 17th February, at a sold out show at St Mary’s Centre, Malcolm the Magician put on a dazzling display of tricks, fun and music.
The children especially were enthralled and young Eddie, recruited to be Malcolm’s assistant, almost stole the show with his spontaneous charm. Eddie is now the prize possessor of a magical wand, so look out!
A big thank you to those of you who donated your tickets. 53 were gifted to the charity Family Support Work. Also thank you so much to Deligo’s & The Bluebell Bakery who donated delicious cakes and buns, and all our wonderful helpers and St Mary’s Centre for the use of the hall.
After expenses (posters, tea & coffee, biscuits & crisps) a surplus of £382 will go towards the Save the Felpham Village Post Office campaign.
Thanks to all for your wonderful generosity. As one child was heard to say: “Best afternoon ever!”
